Description
The HB 5403 wraps and supports one shoulder. An elastic strap running under the armpit holds the support in place; because it supports without locking the joint, arm movement is not fully blocked and everyday tasks remain possible. The surfaces in contact with the body are made of breathable neoprene, which reduces heat build-up and sweating during long wear. It is used in shoulder injuries, rotator cuff injuries, hemiplegia, tendon strains and inflammatory conditions, and in the post-traumatic period and after shoulder implant surgery. It is produced in five sizes from S to XXL and the correct size should be chosen from the size chart. Where the arm must be fully supported in a sling, an arm sling rather than a shoulder support is used; your doctor decides which is appropriate.
