Description
The KB 433 is a knitted brace designed to stabilise the thumb. Its aluminium stay is malleable, so the support can be bent to hold the thumb at the angle each user needs. The circular-knit elastic fabric wraps the wrist and palm and lets the skin breathe, which keeps it comfortable over long periods of wear. It is used where thumb stabilisation is required, in De Quervain's syndrome, and in spasticity and hemiplegia. The brace is made separately for the right and left hand, so the side must be specified when choosing. Size is chosen by wrist circumference, with the 14-26 cm range divided into three sizes.
