Description
The Athena-Deluxe is a four-section couch with electric height adjustment, built for clinics and massage rooms that run all day. The height range serves two purposes: lowered, it lets an elderly or less mobile person sit down unaided; raised, it puts the working surface at the therapist's own height so they are not leaning forward through a session. The backrest lifts manually to 56 degrees, moving the patient from flat to a semi-seated position, while the leg section adjusts through several stops up to 30 degrees. A heavy-duty steel frame carries a working weight of 190 kg. The wipe-clean PU upholstery sits over 7.5 cm of multi-layer foam, which is what determines comfort during longer treatments. Locking castors let you reposition the table within the room and hold it steady once braked. An adjustable headrest, removable side armrests and neck and lumbar cushions are supplied with the table.
