Description
Contour Plus is a blood glucose meter for self-monitoring at home. A test needs 0.6 microlitres of blood and the result appears in five seconds. The strips are automatically calibrated, so there is no code to enter with each new box — a practical difference that removes one source of user error. Second-Chance sampling lets you add more blood to the same strip within 30 seconds if the first drop was too small, so the strip is not wasted; that matters if you test several times a day. Sip-in sampling means the strip draws the blood into the test chamber itself, so you do not have to spread the drop across the strip. The meter works only with Contour Plus strips.
