Description
The FS-110LAB-46 is for users whose arms cannot drive the hand rims or who tire over distance. It is steered by a joystick on the armrest, operable with one hand so the other stays free. Dual motors allow the chair to turn on the spot, which matters in narrow corridors and lifts. When the motor stops, an electromagnetic brake engages, so the chair does not roll away on a slope; the flip side is that you must disengage the motor release levers before pushing it by hand. A 46 cm seat width suits most adults — measure the user's hip width and add 2–3 cm to confirm. The frame folds and the batteries lift out, but power chairs are considerably heavier than manual ones, so decide in advance who will lift it if you plan to carry it in a car. Range depends on the user's weight and the gradients involved; charging fully before each day of use will extend battery life.
