Description
The LC 302 is a panty-style post-operative compression girdle covering the abdomen and hips. Leaving the legs free makes it less restrictive when sitting and walking, so this length is chosen after procedures where compression is only needed over the lower trunk. The row of hook-and-eye fasteners allows the garment to be closed in stages and moved to an inner row as swelling reduces, keeping the fit. Sizing is decided by considering waist and hip circumference together; the seven sizes cover 58-108 cm waist and 80-132 cm hip. If the thighs also need to be held under compression the LC 301 is available, and for a length reaching below the knee there is the LC 300. How long and how many hours a day it is worn is set by the operating surgeon.
