Description
The Erpa E-159 is an orthopaedic mattress for hospital beds, 90 × 190 cm and 10 cm thick. Its density-28 foam is laser cut to an orthopaedic profile; higher-density foam does not collapse immediately under body weight, so support stays consistent for people who spend long periods in bed and the mattress takes longer to hollow out in the middle. The outer cover is antibacterial and waterproof — urine, perspiration and spills do not reach the foam, and the surface wipes clean with a damp cloth. That is the property that decides whether hygiene can be maintained, in hospital and home-care use alike. At 8 kg the mattress can be lifted by one person when changing bedding or cleaning. It fits a standard hospital bed platform; if your bed is a different size, measure the platform and check that it matches.
