Description
The FS-731LQ-36 is one of the lightweight aluminium chairs in the LQ range. Hand rims on the rear wheels let the user propel themselves, which for someone with enough arm strength is a meaningful gain in independence over an attendant-pushed transport chair. Flip-up armrests and detachable footrests make sideways transfers from a bed or armchair practical. The aluminium frame is lighter than steel and does not rust in humid air, so in coastal areas both the finish and the moving parts last longer.
