Description
A bolster roll is a general-purpose support for the parts of the body left unsupported when you lie down or sit. Placed under the neck when lying on your back it stops the head falling backwards; placed behind the waist it fills the lumbar curve so the back muscles are not held in tension. Under the knees it keeps the legs slightly bent, a position many people find eases strain in the lower back. The viscoelastic filling softens with body heat and moulds to the area, giving more even contact than a firm foam block. The same pillow works as a lumbar support in a car, an office chair or a wheelchair. The cover is removable and washable, so it is easy to keep clean in daily use.
