Description
A knee pillow is used by side sleepers to stop the upper leg dropping forward and down during the night. When the leg falls forward the hip rotates and the lower spine twists; separating the knees reduces that twist, which makes for a more comfortable position if you wake with lower back or hip stiffness. The viscoelastic filling softens with body heat, moulds to the knees and returns to shape when the pressure is released. The narrowed hourglass profile keeps the pillow from sliding out during the night. It is also widely used in pregnancy and for positioning after hip or knee replacement, where your surgeon should tell you which position to sleep in. The cover is removable and washable, so hygiene is easy to maintain with daily use.
