Description
Ultrasound gel removes the air gap between the probe and the skin so sound waves reach the tissue; without gel there is no image, which is why the gel's viscosity and conductivity directly affect image quality. Besides ultrasound, this product can be used for ECG, stress testing and epilation procedures. It is water soluble and easy to clean off, and because it contains no oils or oily substances it leaves no marks on skin or clothing. It is hypoallergenic, non-irritating and suitable for all skin types; it contains no formaldehyde or salt and is non-toxic. Being odourless makes long examinations more comfortable for both patient and operator. It is unaffected by perspiration during use and keeps its consistency. The 1000 ml container suits clinical use; keeping the cap closed prevents the gel from drying out or becoming contaminated.
