Description
The Üzümcü PA-2 is a portable suction unit used to clear fluid and secretions from the airway or a wound site. With 22 L/min of air flow and a 2-litre collection jar it covers a broad range of work, from bedside use to an outpatient clinic. Its most important safety feature is the float system: when the jar fills, the float cuts in and stops fluid reaching the pump, which both protects the unit and prevents contaminated fluid being drawn back into the air path. The in-line bacterial filter is a further barrier against contamination from the aspirated material. The pump is oil-free, so there is no routine oil-change burden — a clear operational advantage on a unit in constant use. At 160 × 365 × 345 mm and designed to be carried by hand, it moves easily between the emergency unit, the examination room and the bedside. The jar and tubing set must be cleaned properly after each use.
