Description
This compress is shaped anatomically to the wrist, wrapping around it so the gel sits over the joint. The bead gel structure conforms to the area better than a flat gel filling and holds its cold for longer. The wrist is a joint that commonly complains after keyboard work, repetitive movement and sports strain; the hardest part of treating it is keeping a compress in place, which is exactly what the fastening strap is for — you do not have to hold it, and your other hand stays free. The inner face is fabric lined so the gel never touches the skin directly. For cold application, chill it in the freezer; for warm application, heat it in a microwave or in boiling water. After heating, check the temperature by hand before placing it against the skin. A single application should not exceed 15 to 20 minutes.
