Description
A hot water bottle is a long-standing way to apply heat to tense muscles or simply to warm the bed. This model holds 2 litres and comes with a wool/fleece cover. The cover does two things: it keeps the hot rubber off bare skin and helps the water stay warm longer. Fill it to no more than two thirds of its capacity — an overfilled bottle strains at the closure. Do not use boiling water; let it cool a little before filling. Before every use, check that the stopper does not leak and that the rubber has no cracks, thin spots or bulges; this check matters most for elderly users and anyone with limited mobility.
