Description
The light-compression version of the pantyhose is used when the compression should cover the whole leg but medium pressure is not required. Class CCL1 applies pressure in the 18-22 mmHg range, the level usually chosen for preventive wear and for leg fatigue caused by long periods of standing or sitting. Because the pantyhose form also covers the hip and thigh, it works over a wider area than below-knee models. Put it on first thing in the morning while the legs are still rested and keep it on through the day. Do not wring or rub when washing; hand washing and drying flat on a towel preserves the elasticity of the yarn. Size is set from leg circumference measurements. For long-term wear, or with a diagnosed venous condition, choose the compression class together with your doctor.
