Description
The Epi-Derm C-Strip is a silicone gel strip shaped for curved scar lines where a flat sheet will not sit properly. Inframammary incisions and scars around the areola follow an arc, so a flat sheet creases and lifts at the edges there; the C shape follows the scar line and keeps full contact. The moist, occlusive environment silicone creates over the scar helps the tissue soften and flatten over time. It can be worn up to 12 hours at a time and is suitable overnight. The strip is not single-use — washed with a non-foaming, fragrance-free cleanser and dried, it lasts around 2–3 weeks. The product is non-sterile and is applied only after the incision has fully closed.
