Description
An underpad is a disposable sheet laid under or over the bed sheet to keep a bed, sofa, wheelchair or car seat dry. This Evony pad measures 60 × 90 cm; the generous size lets the edges tuck under the mattress so the pad stays put instead of bunching beneath the patient — one of the most common frustrations in bedbound care. Folded outer edges stop fluid escaping at the sides. The backing is a non-slip, stretchable layer that resists tearing as the patient moves. It is safe to use in adult care and with children. Used together with adult pads it acts as a second line of protection and cuts down how often bed linen has to be changed; it also serves as a work surface during pad changes. Each pack contains 30 pads.
