Description
The stocked version of the Firstar 9500 supplies the cabinet and its first aid consumables in a single package, which is why it is chosen by workplaces and schools that are required to keep a first aid cabinet and want it set up in one step. The cabinet measures 30 × 40 × 15 cm, has a lightweight plastic body and a lockable door, and comes with three spare keys and mounting screws. The contents are put together to cover the most common incidents — bleeding, burns, cuts and sprains — with gauze and elastic bandages, sterile gauze compresses in several sizes, abdominal pads, eye pads and plasters. Bandage scissors, plastic forceps, gloves, a resuscitation mouthpiece, an axillary thermometer and kidney dishes make the response itself easier. For emergencies the set adds a foil blanket, a burn dressing and two instant cold packs. Replacing items as soon as they are used and reviewing expiry dates once a year is what actually keeps the cabinet useful.
