Description
Cold spray is used to apply rapid surface cooling where ice or a cold pack is not available — most often pitch-side during first aid. The can holds 200 ml. Shake before use, then spray the affected area from at least 20 centimetres away for 2 to 4 seconds, repeating at short intervals if needed. The distance rule matters: holding the can too close to the skin can cause a cold burn. Do not spray continuously on one spot. Do not use on open wounds, irritated skin or around the eyes. Cooling is a temporary effect; the spray is not a treatment, and swelling, deformity or inability to bear weight calls for medical assessment. As a pressurised container, keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
