Description
The FS-575 is an overbed dining table with a wooden top that rests across a hospital bed. Wood feels warmer to the touch than plastic and conducts less heat from a hot plate; in exchange it is more sensitive to water, so spills should be wiped straight away and the top never left wet. At 99 × 30 cm it takes a tray or a plate-and-glass setting. The length is fixed, so measure the outside width of your bed before ordering and confirm it suits 99 cm; if you need an adjustable length look at the FS-573, and for hydraulic height adjustment the FS-562. When setting up for a meal in bed, keeping the top close to elbow height stops the arm from hanging unsupported and makes the meal less tiring. Lifting the top off and setting it aside when not in use is both safer and more convenient during bed-making and transfers.
