Description
The FS-692 does double duty: short-distance transport within the room and use as a toilet chair. The powder-coated steel frame is finished for damp bathroom conditions, though drying it after each use will still extend its life. Because the armrests flip down, the user can be slid sideways from a bed rather than lifted forward — considerably safer for the carer's back. The footrests detach, which is more practical when the user can push themselves along with their feet on the floor. The solid rear wheels never puncture and need no inflation, and their locks stop the chair sliding as someone sits down. With the pan removed the chair rolls over a standard WC, so for users who can reach the bathroom it also works as a raised toilet seat with arm support.
