Description
Because it folds flat, the FS-894 is the commode of choice in homes where the chair should not be on show all the time — it stows in a wardrobe or under the bed between uses. Seat height is set by push-buttons anywhere from 50 to 58 cm, a range that covers short and tall users alike; getting it right reduces the load on the knees when standing. The chromed steel frame carries up to 100 kg. The bucket is round and lidded, so it can be covered before being carried to be emptied. An aluminium-framed version, the FS-894L, also exists; aluminium is lighter and more resistant to damp, so ask about it if the chair will live permanently in the bathroom. Before each use, check that the folding mechanism is fully open and locked.
