Description
The FS-966LH-B is a four-wheeled rollator with a seat and handbrakes, giving both walking support and somewhere to rest along the way. Handle height adjusts from 79.5 to 89 cm — set it so that, with the person standing upright and the arm hanging loose, the handle reaches the wrist crease; that keeps the elbow slightly bent and the shoulder down. The seat sits at 50.5 cm and is cushioned. Before sitting, lock both handbrakes into the park position; attempting to sit without locking them is the most common accident with a rollator. Safe working load is 80 kg and the rollator itself weighs 8.5 kg, a lightness you notice lifting it over a kerb or into a car. Folded, it comes down to 49 cm deep. It has an adjustable backrest, an extendable arm support and a flip-up footrest; with the footrest in use the person can stay seated and be pushed short distances, which makes the rollator a transfer solution in its own right. The removable basket carries up to 5 kg — loading it beyond that increases the tendency to tip forward.
