Description
The FS873-46 is a standard-size manual wheelchair for everyday use. A 46 cm seat width suits the large majority of adults; a practical way to check is to measure the user's hip width and add roughly 2–3 cm. Armrests and footrests are fixed, which keeps the chair simple and durable, though users who need sideways transfers are better served by a model with swing-away armrests. The tyres are solid: no pressure to check and nothing to puncture, at the cost of a firmer ride over rough ground compared with pneumatic tyres. Hand rims on the rear wheels let the user self-propel. The frame folds for transport in a car boot. Where the 120 kg capacity would be exceeded, look instead at the wider, reinforced models we stock.
