Description
A gel heel grip reduces the discomfort of the shoe's back edge rubbing the heel and limits the foot sliding backwards inside the shoe. It is particularly useful in new shoes or shoes that run slightly large, because it fills the gap between heel and counter. The strip is made of high-grade silicone gel, which compresses under load to absorb impact and returns to shape when the load is removed — giving it a longer service life than foam strips. Its anatomical cut suits different foot types. To fit it, clean the heel area, peel the backing label from the strip and press it firmly into place. Let shoes dry in the shade when not in use, as moisture weakens the adhesive. The grip is reusable. If the heel already has a blister or broken skin, wait until it has healed before fitting the strip.
