Description
This metatarsal pad sits under the forefoot and is anchored by a loop that slips over a toe. The looped design is the most popular in this product group because it stops the pad sliding out of position while walking, keeping the support exactly where it is needed at every step. It is used to spread forefoot load in a dropped metatarsal arch and where painful pressure is felt under the ball of the foot. The soft silicone adds little bulk inside a shoe and can also be worn under socks at home. It comes in one size. A pad alone does not support the whole sole; if flat foot or heel spur is also present, full-length silicone insoles should be considered. Being washable, it lasts through long-term use.
