Description
Hallux valgus is a foot condition in which the big toe angles outwards, gradually forming a prominence at its base. This bandage splint is used to hold the toe in a straighter position overnight; because it has no rigid frame, it stays comfortable in bed. The section that sits over the metatarsal area is made of towelling fabric, which matters during long contact because it absorbs perspiration and is gentle on the skin. Its elastic construction keeps the profile thin, so it can also be worn inside a shoe when needed. The product comes in separate left and right versions, so state which foot you need when ordering. It is made in one size. The splint mechanically limits toe deviation; if the deformity is advanced or painful, consult your doctor first.
