Description
Haspet antibacterial cleansing towels are wet wipes used for perineal and body cleansing of patients who cannot bathe or who are confined to bed. At 30 × 32 cm they are noticeably larger than a standard wet wipe, so a single towel covers a wide area — care takes less time and the patient has to be repositioned less often. The towel is applied in circular movements and then discarded; it is not reused. If contact with a cold wipe is uncomfortable, the pack can be warmed in a microwave for no more than 50 seconds; always check the temperature against your own skin before touching the patient. Regular, gentle cleansing helps maintain skin integrity in people who spend long periods in bed. Reseal the pack after each use, as exposed wipes dry out and lose their effect.
