Description
A lumbosacral corset supports the lower back and sacral region and limits movement there. Its steel stays sit in fabric pockets rather than against the body — a detail that prevents irritation and discomfort during long wear. The breathable monofilament elastic fabric does not trap sweat or odour, so the corset can be worn under clothing through the day. It is used on medical advice for spinal and vertebral fractures, lumbar disc treatment, lumbar surgery and physiotherapy programmes. It should be worn over a vest and, unless specifically instructed otherwise, taken off at night. For correct sizing, measure with a tape at the narrowest part of the waist. Wiping with a damp cloth is enough to clean it; the fabric is delicate, so machine washing is not recommended.
