Description
The Mesilife ARM-30G2 is a fully automatic monitor whose cuff wraps around the upper arm, a position closer to heart level than the wrist and therefore usually more consistent for home tracking. It stores 199 readings for each of two users, so two people in the same household can follow their own records without mixing them up. The WHO classification indicator shows which range a reading falls into on a scale, which makes the figures easier to interpret when you take them to your doctor. The cuff wrap check warns you when the cuff is loose or badly positioned — the most common cause of unreliable readings at home. A motion sensor and an irregular heartbeat indicator tell you when movement, talking or a rhythm irregularity means a value should be questioned. The large backlit screen makes early-morning readings possible without turning the lights on. Besides batteries it can run from a USB cable and adapter, so frequent measuring does not become a battery problem. Take readings rested, seated with your back supported and with the arm at heart level.
