Description
Frasaco replacement teeth are the German-made duroplastic components fitted in place of teeth consumed during exercises on phantom jaw models. Each tooth is secured to the jaw body with a screw, a fixing that keeps it from moving during preparation and lets the student work against a realistic resistance with the bur. The material is chosen so that it cuts with a feel comparable to tooth structure. Teeth are consumed in cavity preparation, restorative placement, crown preparation and endodontic access exercises; a replacement set renews only the teeth while preserving the investment in the jaw and phantom head. Confirming the jaw series before ordering matters: the standard Frasaco ANA-4 series works with 28 teeth and the AG-3 series with 32, and sockets are not interchangeable between them. Checking the tightness of the screws periodically prevents a loose tooth rotating during preparation and encouraging the wrong working angle.
