Description
The Mambo Max Balance Board Freeman is a round board mounted on a hemispherical base. Step onto the 40 cm platform with one or both feet and the board tips in every direction, so the muscles around the ankle make constant small corrections to hold you level. That is why Freeman boards are a standard tool in rehabilitation after an ankle sprain and in the proprioceptive work used to prevent sprains from recurring. The board stands 9 cm high and is rated for a maximum load of 100 kg. Handles on the underside let you place the board on the floor and work on your hands for press-ups and trunk exercises, so a single piece of equipment covers both lower and upper body. When starting out, work near a wall or the back of a chair so you have something to grab if you lose balance. The board is made by MVS In Motion of Belgium as part of the Mambo Max range.
