Description
The Mesilife R-C4D brings three types of application together in one unit: a TENS mode for nerve stimulation, an EMS mode for muscle stimulation and a massage mode with rhythmic relaxation programmes. Twenty-two presets in total — 9 TENS, 8 EMS and 5 massage — make it straightforward to begin from a setting suited to the area being treated. The unit has 2 channels and 4 pads, so you can run two separate areas independently or spread all four pads across one larger area. Intensity is graded in 40 steps, and fine steps make it easier to hold the sensation at a level that is felt but not uncomfortable. The large LCD shows the selected programme, channel and intensity together. Pads are consumables: replace them when adhesion falls off, because partial contact concentrates the current in a small area and starts to sting. Placement, session length and intensity should be set for the individual — consult your doctor or physiotherapist first, and anyone with a pacemaker or who is pregnant should not use it without medical approval.
