Description
Saliva ejectors are single-use consumables that remove saliva and spray water to keep the working field dry. The wire core lets the tube be bent to any angle and hold it, so the ejector stays where it was placed under the tongue or in the buccal vestibule. Positioning matters, because moisture control directly affects bond strength in adhesive restorations and the security of isolation during root canal treatment. Perforated or removable tips are preferred so the tip does not suck onto the soft tissue. Each ejector is discarded after the patient; regular cleaning of the suction line and the saliva separator prevents odour and blockages. A pack of 100 is a practical stock unit for practices with a high daily patient load.
