Description

TENS electrodes are the adhesive pads that carry the device's low-intensity current to the skin, and as a consumable they affect the result as much as the device itself. These measure 5 × 9 centimetres — a size used to spread current over a wider area on large muscle regions such as the back and thigh, while smaller sizes suit small joints. The pack contains 4 electrodes, compatible with all TENS and stimulation devices. The self-adhesive gel surface means no separate gel is needed, and high conductivity spreads the current evenly across the skin. Clean, dry, lotion-free skin before application noticeably improves both adhesion time and conductivity. After use, press the electrode back onto its liner and store it in its sealed pouch; dried-out gel shortens electrode life and can irritate the skin. Electrodes are personal items. Anyone with a pacemaker or similar implant, women who are pregnant, and anyone applying electrodes near the heart should consult a doctor before use.
